Re: DXL to grant Read access to all objects in a Projects well, you could force it, by breaking every access inheritance of every project/module/object, and adding a "read" "Access record" (read chapter 21 of the DXL manual "Access controls"), but you really shouldn't do it. It will break every rule of your access model. Every single future access maintenance will be a nightmare.
Instead, you should review your current access model and see, on which level it makes sense to add a "read only access" group. Remember that even every module set up for Shared Editing will have uninherited access records and will need special consideration. |
